Takutai Houses

These three houses have been fitted together on a city coastal site with unobstructed views to Hobson Bay, giving a sense of space to each of the homes.

The interior interconnected volumes have a coastal palette providing connection to the exterior views.

Solid precast concrete and stained cedar exterior are punctuated with strategically placed windows to optimise the views.

The site slopes down towards the north east, providing maximum sun into each home while maintaining privacy and individuality.
